A vote for the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi is a vote for political liberation, a vote for good governance, Dr. Oscar Osakwe, a Community leader, has said.
Speaking in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha south local government area of Delta State, Dr. Osakwe, reiterated that a vote for the former Chairman, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, is a vote for transparency, quality representation and accountability, insisting that there’s no better time to get it right than now.
The Community leader regretted that the oil-rich State has been unlucky to have good leaders.
He said Delta, a state blessed with human and natural resources, flows with milk and honey has been very unfortunate with irresponsible leadership.
According to him, “Delta State has been hijacked by political anarchist whose trademarks has been scrambling and partitioning of our common wealth.
“Delta State needs a rescue operation, it’s time to liberate Delta State from professional politicians.
Delta State need people with address to fall back on after politics.
*Delta State needs men of education. Delta State needs men whose administrative abilities are unequalled”.
He posited that the state needs men like, Gbagi, saying he is “a man who is coming on his own strength, a man without a God father, a man who is not a liability, a man who is not a push over”.
Continuing, he described the security expert as a man who has the ability to put a square peg in a square hole and has excelled in both private and public life.
He asserted that in view of the above ascribed qualities, “I am making a passionate appeal to every rational minds in Delta State to shone people in politics for self agrandizement and vote for a man who is passionate with the zeal to change the status quo.
“A vote for His Excellency Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is a vote for competence, a vote for liberty from unemployment, a vote for freedom from the shackles of intimidation”.
