A housewife identified as Mrs Grace Tenkumor, weekend, wept with tears and petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba and other security agencies alleging that her husband, Mr. Patrick Tenkumor has sold the only family house they stay to Winner’s Chapel pastor, aka living faith.

The woman who spoke to newsmen in Warri, Delta state, said the building which is around Niger-Cat Construction company by Omimi link road, Tenkumor close has three, two bedrooms and one self contain, which she alleged was sold by her husband to Winner’s chapel pastor without their knowledge.

Narrating her ordeal, Mrs. Grace Tenkumor, who presently squatting in a bedsitter room with her children in Warri said the whole thing started last year when the rumour came that her husband had made plans to sell their only family house to Winner’s church pastor.

She said while they were still believing it was rumour, on Thursday 18th August, 2022, men of the Nigeria police with guns came to their family house with a strict order at about 6:00am in the morning, throw all their property out, that the house has been sold to Winner’s chapel pastor by her husband.

She said, “When l noticed it was police l came out, there l was told that Winner’s church has bought the building. l doubted, so l called my son inlaw in Lagos about the development, who promised to see the founder of the Living Faith Church, aka Winner’s Chapel, Pastor David Oyedepo through letter but all attempts to meet him were frustrated by the church workers.

“My daughter who is heavy and came from Lagos to deliver, as l speak to you, we don’t know where the police have taken all our property to, hence, am calling on the Inspector General of Police and other security agents to come to our rescue for a marriage that has lasted for 40 years, so where are we going to go to as we roaming the streets of Warri, no home.”

When contacted the husband, Mr. Patrick Tenkemor on telephone to comment on the issue, he declined statement, saying that it is his private issue and would not speak on it.

All calls and text message to the Delta state Senior Pastor, Living Faith Church, aka Winner’s Chapel, Pastor Obama for comments were not responded to.

But the Delta State Police Spokesperson DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident saying that the police acted on instruction of the court order.
