…emphasize unity, discipline, preparedness for victory

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District, on Sunday, held a high-level strategic meeting at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, where they pledged unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The meeting, which drew senior government officials, party leaders, executives, and grassroots mobilisers, focused on strengthening unity, discipline, and organisational readiness ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Discussions centred on improving party structures, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring electoral preparedness.

Moving the motion of loyalty—seconded by Chief Andrew Oru—the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, commended President Tinubu for significant gains in national security and economic stability.

He also praised Governor Oborevwori’s extensive infrastructural development across Delta State, noting that his strides were unmatched.

Keyamo urged members to remain loyal, united, and aligned with party structures, warning aspirants that no one would secure tickets “from Abuja” without grassroots endorsement.

APC State Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, highlighted the ongoing realignment of Delta’s political landscape and stressed the need for genuine grassroots engagement, unity, and resilience as the party prepares for 2027.

Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, cautioned against indiscipline, factional loyalties, and parallel structures, describing Delta Central as the party’s “political engine room.”

He insisted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori remains the sole leader of the APC in Delta State, adding that loyalty outside this structure would not be tolerated.

Akpeki announced new measures to strengthen the party, including mandatory monthly senatorial meetings across the eight LGAs and the establishment of a Delta Central APC Caucus Committee for strategic planning, mobilisation, conflict resolution, and performance monitoring.

Senator Ede Dafinone, Hon. Ejiro Waive, Stella Okotete, Chief Solomon Igrakpata, Chief Andrew Oru, and other leaders echoed the call for unity, discipline, and collective focus.

Local Government APC Chairmen unanimously pledged to deliver overwhelming votes for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and all APC candidates in 2027.

At the close of the meeting, stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to repositioning Delta Central APC as a cohesive, disciplined, and formidable force capable of securing sweeping victories in the 2027 elections.
