The extensive committee structure is designed to provide a coordinated framework for the party’s political and electoral operations across Ughelli North. Its responsibilities span election administration, security, media engagement, publicity, women and market mobilisation, traditional institutions, religious organisations, trade unions, civil servants, non-indigene communities and the transport sector.
The appointments bring together serving and former political office holders, party executives, professionals and grassroots leaders, reflecting the APC’s effort to broaden stakeholder participation and strengthen its organisational network within the local government area.
With preparations for the 2027 general elections gathering momentum, attention is expected to shift towards the activation of the various committees, effective coordination of their responsibilities and the development of a stronger grassroots mobilisation framework.
The effectiveness of the new structure will ultimately depend on its ability to translate the appointments into sustained political engagement, party cohesion and electoral preparedness across Ughelli North.
