A baby under the age of two years has been found dumped along Old Eku Road in Ibada-Amuokpe community, Sapele local government area of Delta State.
It was gathered that a yet to be identified person abandoned the baby boy.
It was reliably learnt that the community women who were touched by the act and the life of the innocent child took possession of him.
A source disclosed that the Community Youth Chairman, one Umukoro Efe, fondly called Italian, appealed for the information to be placed in the public domain.
He noted that anyone with useful information as to the owner of the baby should come to Ibada-Amuokpe for clarification.
Contacted the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright said he is not aware of the development.
