The armed robbers suspected to be operating in the wee hours of Sunday morning, were overpowered by the Oviorie vigilante group and were killed during a gun battle.
It was learnt that the gangsters were a dreaded group who operate in brood day light before they were murdered by the vigilante group.
Items recovered from them includes cut-to-size guns, charms and sophisticated weapons.
The vigilante group was led by Chief Sunday Akpobi, popularly called Escobar.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the killing.
