A truck driver has killed a market woman on her way to the popular Afor market in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha south local government area of Delta State.
Trouble started on Wednesday August 18th 2021, when the hit-and-run driver rammed into the woman who was on a motorcycle, popularly called Okada, leaving the woman in the pool of her own blood.
The accident which occurred at about 3:00pm, left the woman beyond recognition, as she smashed her face on the tarred road.
It was learnt that angry youth and residents in the area gave the truck driver a hot chase but could not apprehend him.
Contacted, the Ag. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the accident, saying “Yes, it is confirm”.
