It was also gathered that all four passengers in a tricycle were allegedly kidnapped.
The bandits also allegedly took hostage the occupants of a Red Camry and a Siena Car plying the East-West road.
The Ash Siena Car has registration number KJA 231, as the other part of the registration number couldn’t be captured by camera.
Trouble started Wednesday evening at about 6:00pm under the Agbarho Railway Bridge close the the Agbarho Police Station, when the hoodlums laid ambush on the way, awaiting their unsuspecting victims.
The windscreen of the Red Camry Car was shattered while some items belonging to passengers in Agofure Bus, were seen littering the road.
The back seat of the tricycle had blood stains while part of its back light was also destroyed depicting gun fire as the abductors purportedly operated freely without interruption from police operatives.
It was learnt that some police officers arrived the scene of the incident when the passengers have been led into the bush hostage by the whiskers.
At press time, when contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said such incidence has not been reported.
