The images of the young man killed by a policeman in Delta State, has surfaced on social media.
The deceased is known as Onyeka I’ve, a phone repairer at the popular Ogbe-Gonogo market along Nnebisi road, Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The young man fondly addressed as Onyi, gadget dealer’s life was cut short by a police officer attached to Delta State Police Command, Asaba.
Contrary to claims that he was a yahoo boy, the late Onyi sales phones for a living.
He was allegedly killed in front of his wife over alleged police extortions, brutality and killings today.
Meanwhile, youths have protested and demanded for justice for the slain popular phone seller in Asaba.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, was quoted to have said: “the Police inspector has been identified, arrested, paraded, and detained.
“The Command assures members of the public and the deceased family of justice. Investigation has commenced, and he will be arraigned in court for prosecution”.
