Unknown gunmen have kidnapped scores of passengers and killed one between Olliogwu and Ndemili in Ndokwa west local government area of Delta State.
Trouble started on Wednesday April 5th 2023, when the suspects blocked the road and unleashed mayhem on the travellers.
A video circulating on the social media by the Creative Director of Leaptv, reports that one person was shot dead in the process.
A voice in the video narrated thus: “this happened between Olliogwu and Ndemili. The herdsmen blocked this car and kidnapped everybody and killed one person inside the car. Look at the guy that they killed”.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the incident.
“It is confirmed, somebody was shot dead some others kidnapped”, he said.
