INSECURITY: APC Governorship Aspirant Donates Patrol Vehicle To Security Outfit In Delta

To enhance and curb the menace of insecurity posing challenges in some parts of Delta State, an 18-seater bus has been donated to Alihame Vigilante Group (AVG) under the auspices of the Delta State Community Policing, Alihame Chapter, Ika south local government area of the state.

    
The All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship aspirant in the 2019 governorship election, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, donated the patrol bus to fast track security in the community.

The AVG Chairman, Mr. Happy C.K Osiele who spoke on behalf of the security outfit thanked Dr. Ojougboh for giving them patrol bus, saying that they would remain grateful to him.

“We cannot but thank him enough. He has proved to us that he is a leader to be reckoned with any time. This will make us to be more proactive in curbing crime in Alihame Community.

“We have been waiting for it, we thank God that it finally came through a great son of the soil. Sometimes, whenever it rains we do not patrol.

“But now, let it rain heavily, we will go out to discharge our duties because we have a bus. It is really a plus to us. We feel so happy and remain grateful to Dr. Cairo Ojougboh”, he stated.

Osiele used the medium to advise residents of Alihame to be law abiding and maintain peaceful, noting, “Nobody should go against the law. Please call us for any criminal issue for we are always on ground to attend to you”.

He promised that his group would always carry out its duties without fear or favour, urging Dr. Ojoughoh, to keep on with his good work, praying God to prosper him in all areas of life.
