Embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari, has begged the Court to release him for medical tourism over his deteriorating health.
Abba Kyari, pleaded with the Court to be allowed to travelled abroad for check up as he is suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
The detained Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who is currently in the custody of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), over his alleged involvement in drug trafficking, on Monday, dragged the Federal Government before the Federal High Court in Abuja challenging his continued detention by NDLEA.
Mr. Kyari who is currently on suspension from the Nigerian Police Force is seeking an order of court to compel the NDLEA to grant him bail on health grounds, pending the hearing and determination of his fundamental right enforcement application.
