It was learnt that he got released on Thursday night after spending time with his abductors.
Sequel to his release, the hoodlums had demanded for N50 million naira ransom but later brought their price down to N15 million after power of bargain.
It would be recall that The Story, had exclusively reported the kidnap of Evangelist Ekpekuro, who was whisked on Wednesday by hooligans from his fish and poultry farm.
Although, it could not be ascertained whether the last bargain of N15 million was paid to secure his release, sources disclosed that he was let go without any payment of ransom.
It was gathered that he has since reunited with his family for the Christmas celebration.

While Andrew Onosiwe, wrote on his Facebook page: “Evang Jerry Ekpekuro has been released by his abductors. The Urhobo Christian Music Maestro was released yester night without ransom”.
