There were bruises on the face and body of the deceased whose hands and legs were tied in Warri River on Friday May 21st 2021.
It was learnt that Ogbogbo was sporting Igbudu Community anti-cult vest at as the time of his gruesome murder.
The fallen defence secretary of Igbudu Community was declared missing two weeks to when his corpse was found.
It was gathered that three days after he was declared missing, his family and leaders of the community reported the incident to the police.
It was further gathered that three days before his corpse was found, an unidentified corpse was seen afloat in the Warri River by Igbudu Waterside area from a distance.
“But there was a reported case of a corpse floating in the Pessu Waterside. So the community sent people to go and identified the corpse. And it was Ogbogbo who was identified with the Igbudu Community anti cult vest he put on before his death,” a source hinted.
The remains of late Victor Onotata Midehire Oghenevwede have been buried.
The Ag. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe when contacted said he was not aware of the incident.
