A Delta State Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) frontline aspirant for the House of Assembly in Oshimili North State Constituency, popularly known as “Madam Cerbificate”, Chief Mrs Shimite Bello has been honoured by the Indigenous Correspondents’ Chapel (ICC), of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) the Delta State Council.
The business expert was honoured
with an Award of Excellence as “The Epitome of the Girl Child”.
Chief Bello received the award during the chapel’s two Inauguration in office in Asaba.
According to the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Andy Emephia, Chief Bello has indeed distinct herself as a Woman of honour both in politics and human development and as such worth emulation.
“She is a positive life developmental Influencer across board, a Pan Delta and a frontline advocate of Women and the Girl development. Indeed, Delta State is very lucky to have such a personality, he added.
Receiving the Award on behalf Chief Bello, Mrs Ejiro lauds the Chapel for the honour given to her boss as the Epitome of the Girl Child.
She said it is a call to Mrs Bello to continue to affect lives and Society positively and as the theme of the Chapel’s Celebration “Build up To Delta Guber 2023″, Deltans especially those from Oshimili North constituency would not be disappointed in her representation at the House of Assembly.
Mrs Bello dedicated the award to God, the Governor His Excellency Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the members of her constituency.of Our Governor.
