PRESIDENCY: APC Inaugurates Tinubu Support Group In Delta

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Comrade Okumbor Ugiagbe Hycenth, has setup the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), an umbrella body coordinating all interest groups geared towards making Ahmed Bola Tinubu their choice as President come 2023 general election.

The inaugural ceremony was held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Agbor residents of a chieftain of the All Progress Congress (APC), Hon. Kingsley Nonye Philip, who lavishly hosted party members.

Comrade Hycenth who doubles as the the group’s State Steering Committee, inaugurated TSG, in Delta North Senatorial District of the State.

Nine staunch members of APC were appointed as the Local Government Coordinators of TSG in Delta North Senatorial District, with a call to further propagate the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Bola Tinubu, as the best choice for the 2023 Presidential election.

While inaugurating the coordinators, Comr. Okumbor explained that the choice of Mr. Tinubu for the presidential election cannot be overemphasized, pointing out that the political icon who is a founding father of the APC national, remains a structure that has laboured much in building human capacity amongst other track records that brought transformation to Lagos State.

He said Tinubu stands tall in the presidential race being a focused leader to succeed the seating president come 2023, thereby charging the coordinators to be committed and work hard in delivering success on their mandates.

The Delta North TSG coordinator,  Hon. Chinedu Egbonimolise, while speaking on behalf of his group members, expressed gratitude for the honour giving to them to serve.

He applauded the initiative of the project, observing that the  inaugural exercise did not just went smoothly but was very brief and business like.

“This signal’s a good start for TSG activities in Delta North, and we shall engage all and sundry across board to ensure that APC as a party succeeds while Tinubu also succeed as our President in the 2023 general election.

“The slogan of TSG as SAKKAYA, means ‘time for rewards’ for the leader who has worked for the people and it is now time for the people to work for him,” Hon. Egbonimolise added.

Speaking to newsmen, Hon. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu  Dunkwu congratulated the new coordinators of Delta North TSG.

He remarked that the inaugural ceremony also witnessed by coordinators from Delta South was colourful and well attended, adding that Tinubu whom he described as Colossus and political enigma, will not disappoint Nigerians if elected as the president of the country.

He urged the coordinators to work asidiously in order to deliver on their mandate.

According to Hon. Chamberlain, “Tinubu is strong and has all it takes to transform Nigeria. He has done it in Lagos State while as a Governor. Therefore, we all should support in achieving his presidential aspiration.”

Speaking further, Hon. Chamberlain encouraged Deltans to quee behind APC and Hon. Ovie Omo Agege whom he said is the right man to bring the needed transformation to Delta State.

He alleged that most of the few roads done in Delta State are NDDC projects despite the hug allocation that Delta State was getting from the federal.

It also featured the presence of the APC warlord in Ika Federal constituency and Senior Special Assistant to the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, on Members Affairs, Hon. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu among others.

The appointees includes, Hon. Chinedu Egbenimolise as Delta North Coordinator, Comrade Frank C. Izekor: (Ika South coordinator), Mr. Samuel Leverage Orbit (Ika North East coordinator), Mr. Ozoerum Mentis Uche (Ndokwa East coordinator), Mr. Achi Anthony (Ndokwa West coordinator), Eseh Chukwuka Gabriel (Ukwuani coordinator).

Others are Nwube Joseph Chibuzor: (Aniocha South coordinator), Emmy E. Morence: (Aniocha North coordinator), Hero Isioma Hero (Oshimili South coordinator) and Mrs  Ofuani Theresa (Oshimili North coordinator).
