He gave the assurance on Tuesday 23rd February 2021, at a one day workshop to sensitize journalists on the need for fair reportage of the election held in Asaba.
He called on candidates standing in for the election to do their home work by selling their manifestos to the electorate.
Also speaking, the DSIEC Commissioner in charge of Public Affairs and Communication, James Umokoro, noted that the seminar was aimed at preparing NUJ enlightening them on their responsibilities.
He urged them not to be biased in their reportage, saying that sensational reporting on the actual outcome of the March 6th 2021 local Government Council elections should be discouraged.
