Leading governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has congratulated the State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, over the landslide victory the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) secured in the last Saturday’s Poll.
The bye-election was conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to fill the vacant seat caused by death of late Kenneth Ogba, in which Avuakpoye Evivie, floored the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) , to emerge winner.
Similarly, the entrepreneur cum philanthropist, saluted PDP State Chairman, Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso, for the by-election victory.
According to the criminologist, the victory is a clear indication of the State governor’s commitment to ensuring that PDP remains on top of its game.
Hear him: “This has demonstrated the type of leadership Okowa has provided in Delta state to which every single individual in the state trust the Governor, the single reason for the stability in Delta state”.
Gbagi, who was part of the vigorous campaigns to the five wards of Isoko south, praised the governor for leading the way.
Said he: “Ekwueme, you have won the election on behalf of Isoko people given ur massive two days non-stop campaign. God will grant you victory in all your endeavours”.
