In a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen, Gbagi, the frontline governorship hopeful under the auspices of the People Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, said the election of the Delta born Professor of Sociology as the new INC President would reposition the INC to enviable height.
Recall that Gbagi has made impactful contributions to the development of Ijaw nation especially the establishment of Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State and appointment of the firsts Vice Chancellor (VC).
Gbagi noted that Prof. Okaba, as a Professor of Sociology and a Senior Lecturer at the Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Ijaws would benefit from his wealth of experience.
