As at 8:15am, when The Story, visited the Centre, electoral materials are yet to arrive the venue with two Polling Units.
Also, there are no presence of security personnel to maintain peace and order while at major junctions and roads there are no policemen to enforce the restriction order by the Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed Ali.
Some transporters especially tricycle operators also defiled the restriction order.
Meanwhile, Hausa artisans (labourers), are spotted in clusters at Koka Junction along the expressway, Akpo Junction in Okpanam road.
But as at 9:02am, when The Story, returned to Uzoigwe Primary School, policemen, Civil Defense, Road Safety Officials and Correctional officers are on ground but voting materials are yet to arrive.
Mr. Mike Nwosa, former Councilor and Legislative Leader, Oshimili south, expressed hope that materials would come just as he appealed to voters to exercise patient with the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC).
He disclosed that Uzoigwe contains DSIEC ward 11 and 20.
Another respondent, Mrs. Amaka, also expressed hope that DSIEC officials would arrive soon.
Meanwhile, electoral materials arrived exactly 9:12am in company of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) ‘A’ Division Asaba.
