Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Festus Utuama, has picked the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), ticket to represent the people of Ughelli South State Constituency come 2023.
The primary elections has 35 delegates accredited to cast their votes for their choice candidate.
Festus Utuama, pulled a total of 12 votes, with his closet rival, Samson Omomite scoring 9 votes.
The incumbent lawmaker, Reuben Yakubu Izeze, was floored, haven managed to pull two votes.
Also, Pastor Engr. Elvis Peters Uto, scored one vote, while Chief Solomon Ala, pulled one vote.
Meanwhile, the incumbent house of Assembly member representing Aniocha north, Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, has picked the party’s ticket to continue with his good work.
