As the race to 2023 general election gathers momentum, the only female Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), aspirant, Hon. Chief Enyi Rita Daniels Chukwuji, has promised unprecedented development in Aniocha South State Constituency if voted in come 2023.
Hon. Rita Daniels, who is the President General of Ohaneze Ndí’ Igbo Women Wing Worldwide, stated this on Saturday 9th March 2022, during her official declaration to contest the seat for Aniocha State Constituency.
The Vice President, Actors Guide of Nigeria, disclosed that she one of the pioneers of the film village been constructed by the Delta State government, promising to be open to her people.
“I promise transparency, you can deceive the people but you can’t deceive God. It is God that has the structure. I don’t believe in stepping down for anyone except God asked me to do that.
“I am not ready to take yours and add to mine. Majority of our children are in school and common chairs we cannot provide for them to learn.
“We can no longer wait for government to do everything. I will make sure that everything get to your hands. I will hustle for anything that will make Aniocha south great.
“I am one of the pioneer of the film village. The first in Africa and Nigeria. I have the contact and connections for foreign investors to come to Aniocha south”.
She vowed to ensure that her constituents are no longer impoverished in her time, noting that her experience while growing up was enough lessons for her to work for the common man in Aniocha south.
“I am a woman of many caliber in business, entrepreneur and in acting, I am there. I have made a name before my in-law came in. I just want to clear a point”, she added.
In his remarks, the LGA Chairman of the party, Prince Mike Okwufulueze, charged her to lobby the party delegates, leaders and the governor of the state for a brighter chance.
“Lobby the delegates, the leaders in Aniocha south, we advise you, there must be free and fair primaries, there will not be imposition. Whoever win the primary is the candidate of the party, go round the delegates, leaders and the governor.
“It is well with you, in this journey, may God favour you. You will eat the fruit of your labour. May PDP favour you. You are the only woman that we are welcoming today. You have come to seek our support as delegates and as a party.
“I pray for you that your dreams will not be aborted. In all the house of Assembly, God has a say. And as a leader, you can’t stop it. You have done well in your career, we are proud of you”.
