Delta’s Future In Gbagi’s Hands

As the race for the 2023 governorship thickens in Delta State, one person that has remained outstanding, most prominent and intimidating among those jostling for the race both in the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), is Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi.

It will not be out of place to say that he is the only one that has transverse the nook and cranny of the state, soliciting for the votes of the masses come 2023.

Gbagi, a man of the people has reached out to the traditional institution, religious groups, the low and high and the party leaders to hint them of his aspiration and has been blessed to go for the race without fear.

On like other aspirants who are only on the social media to canvass for support.

Several Deltans have tipped him to pick the governorship ticket as he is considered the best among others to govern the State this time around.

Naturally, he is a dogged political fighter, tactician and strategist, with the knowledge, capacity, zeal and mindset to excel in election and office. He is also a perfect gentleman.

The former Minister of Education is most suitable for the job, in terms of experience. He has all it takes to pilot the affairs of the State following his track records over the years. Gbagi, as it were, has the capacity and knowledge to reach out to others. He embodies the working of the executive arm, having been a minister and chairman of the Legal Aide of Nigeria.

There can be no better brand for Deltans. The choice of personality is clear. He is courting the entire state and that is for good reason. It is the only person that is pan- Delta with demonstrable service to the people in all the nooks and crannies of the state.

Unfortunately, the opposition where the Deputy Senate President and Senator representing Delta Central, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, is coming from, is courting selected sections of the state, which universally, is the surest path to electoral failure, and they shall fail.

Opposition parties and their aspirants only appear on the political firmament of Delta State every four years at elections and disappear so soon thereafter. There is none of them that were here four years ago.

So, you can understand why they will sectionally and tribalistically seek votes. They do not know the state and its roadmap to political leadership. So, courting any one tribe cannot make any impact.

Gbagi, as a PDP, man, he is courting the Urhobo, Isoko, Ijaw, Itsekiri and Anioma very seriously.

Very sincerely, one can be bold to say Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, is the only candidate both in PDP, APC and the rest to catch up with. He cannot and will not be beaten.
