Delta Produces  28 Years Old Councilor As Youngest Politician In Nigeria

The just concluded local government elections in Delta State has produced the youngest political elective office holder in the South-south geopolitical zone and in Nigeria.

Igweh Emma Okah popularly addressed Immaculate was born on 27th May, 1992 into the family of Mr. and Mrs. James Igweh Eboh of Aliohen Community, Abavo Kingdom, Ika south local government area of the state.

He attended Nkwor Primary School between 1997-2000, before leaving for Aliohen Primary School, where he completed his primary education when it was established in 2001, as one of the pioneer pupils the school produced in 2002.

Upon completion of his primary education, he enrolled himself into St. Charles college, Abavo in 2002 and sat for WAEC in 2008/2009 academic session.

His love for Education and desire to increase knowledge led him to acquire Diploma in Computer Appreciations at the Oasis computer Academy between 2009 – 2010.

Immaculate got admission into Delta State University in 2011/2012 academic session and ran out meritoriously with Bsc.(Edu) in Political Science.

He is currently undergoing a master’s degree program at the University of Benin, Edo State.

Immaculate as he is fondly called joined active politics under the umbrella political party at a very Young age, he rose to become Ika south Ward 12 Youth leader at the age of 24 years old in 2016.
He was reelected Youth leader in 2020.

Emma Okah is a genuine firm believer and a member of Rt. Hon. Martin Okonta’s Political family.

Emma Okah Igweh was in 2018 appointed vice President Abavo Youths interim caretaker committee by His Royal majesty Obi Uche Irenuma || and was later elected in 2019.

He is a youth mobilizer and a Peoples’ Democratic Party faithful which led his appointment as Ward Liaison Officer by the State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

He is a young vibrant and skillful gentleman who has impacted positively to the society.

He contested for the post of a Councillor to represent Ward 17 (Aliohen and Alizomor Communities) in Ika south Legislative Arm of Delta State, under the platform of the peoples’ Democratic party (PDP) and was today 6th March, 2021 declared winner and returns unoppose by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC).
