A popular and revered community leader and grassroot politician, Mr Joseph Arimichie Agboifo, fondly called as, Dokita Best by his admirers has dumped the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Delta State.
Agboifo, defected on Tuesday, April 12 at the APC Secretariat in Agbor, Ika south local government area of the state before an enlarged crowd of party members.
Speaking on his reason for defecting to APC, he stated that his decision was borne out of the desire to bring good governance to Agbor, Ika land and Delta State.
He noted that he is a grassroot politician, hence, he is out to join APC to better the lives of Ika people and Nigerians.
He thanked Ika south APC members for the warm reception given to him, assuring that together they would emerge victorious in all elections in 2023.
Ika south APC, Chairman, Hon. Hilary Fada Ibude, expressed joy with the defection of Agboifo, to APC, declaring that the Agbor born politician would never regret his action.
He called on Ika south people to give their full support to APC in 2023 general elections.
