A henchman of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State and core grassroot mobilizer, Chief Daddy Osimini, has defected to the major opposition political party, All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2023 general election.
The former Udu PDP stalwart, decamped in Ovwian, promising that he would deliver 100 percent to his newly found political family come 2023.
The grassroot mobilizer, left PDP with over 700 members which he moved into APC to win Udu, by folding up their Umbrellas and picking up the broom.
Some of APC leaders across the 10 ward in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State who where present to welcome the decamped members are David Rhreriobre, Melford Orukpe, Chief Hon Benjamin Sharta.
Others are Chief Fred Kaka, Chief C.C.I Whiliki JP, Hon Imirhe Ochuko, Comr Michael Ibada, Bishop Fred Arutere Esq, John Muwhen, Hon Samson Okubio, Patricia Johnson, Hon Emmanuel Edafeadjbre, Beauty Joseph and host of others.
It was gathered that leaders of PDP where seen in the early hours of today running from Pillar to Post with a long depressed face over the lost of their Grass Root Mobilizer to APC.
