The Okpe Legislative Arm, Okpe Local Government Council of Delta State, has suspended one Honouraby Lucky Pama, popularly known as FBI, from sitting for seven months.
His suspension came as a result of recent alleged misbehavior, disrespect and assault on a high ranking traditional title holder in Okpe Kingdom and Urhobo nation, Chief Fidelis Onajite Aghworo JP.
Chief Fidelis Onajite Aghworo was the former secretary to HRM Orhorho the 1, The Orodje Of Okpe Kingdom for many years, he was the secretary to HRM ORHUE 1 Maj. Gen Felix Mujakperuo RTD Cfr Mni. the present Orodje Of Okpe Kingdom for six years, he was the secretary of Urhobo traditional rulers forum for seven years.
He was the Chairman of Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employee NULGE while he was still in the civil service, and he is presently a senior leader in the Aghalokpe axis and also the SSA to the Speaker, Delta State House Of Assembly.
The House leader, Hon. Peter Aragbata, disclosed that the frequent and contentious misconduct of Honourable Lucky Pama (FBI) in the community and the local government has brought disregards to the other members of the house, disturbing to the leadership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Okpe Local Government.
The House leader, Hon. Aragbata and other members of the house paid a solidarity visit to Chief Fidelis Onajite Aghworo JP, asking him to temper justice with mercy.
In his remarks, Chief Aghworo, said the case is in the hands of the law of the federal republic of Nigeria and also the direction of the land traditionally, saying everybody should shun violence and allow the law to take its cause.
After a series of investigations, a pressure group called PVC AMBASSADOR FOR DELTA CENTRAL 2023 called for an immediate by-election in the ward as the activities of the said Councillor have also gotten to their hands, stating that some of the ward leaders are saying Hon Lucky Pama have been purportedly constituting nuisance in the ward.
The PVC AMBASSADOR said at this particular time; it would not be nice that anybody should do anything to dent the image of the party and Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa led Administration most especially in Okpe Local Government.
