Delta Governor Resumes Recycling Of Old Politicians In New Appointment

Seven out of the nine appointments announced by the Delta state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa are members of the immediate sacked State Executive Council (SEC) while two are new though, they have been in the system.

A letter from the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), signed on Monday May 3rd 2021, trending on the social media on Monday 31st by the Head of Service/Fg. SSG, Mr. Reginald Bayoko, stated that the state governor, approved the appointment of Special Advisers.

Those the governor recycled among the nine persons whose appointment was announced includes Dr. Kingsley Emu, who was returned as Chief Economic Adviser, Mr. Omimi Esquire, Political Adviser, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, Special Adviser and Hon. Kelly Penawuo, Special Adviser.

Others are Chief Andy Asawota, Special Adviser, Chief Mrs. Mary Iyasere, Special Adviser and Chief Edwin Uzor, Special Adviser.

The new persons though in government are Hon. Chief Isaac Anwuzia, the immediate past Chairman of Aniocha south local government area as Political Adviser and Chief Godwin Ogadi, Special Adviser.
