It was a bad day for the Senator James Manager, one of Delta State Governorship aspirant cum Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly (NASS), as youths prevented him and his motorcades from using the Odorubu road to Patani, Patani local government area of the state.
Angry youth at Odorubu Town in Patani LGA who intercepted James Ebiowou Manager, while going to Odorubu for consultation in a convoy at the seen of an accident which occurred yesterday told James Ebiowou Manager that, “We want good roads. Rehabilitate the Ohoro-Bomadi road”, they said.
The angry youths said their action was as a result of poor representation by the Senator who is serving his fifth tenure in the National Assembly.
The youths in the number stormed the road on receiving information that the governorship aspirant was using the road which caused an accident yesterday evening.

According to them, they need good roads and not fake promises from bad leader who could not give them quality roads in 20 years that he has occupied the seat, insisting that the Ohoror-Bomadi road should be rehabilitated.
“Delta state governorship aspirant that cannot tar the road to his hometown.
“Delta state governorship aspirant who’s a serving senator that has no public office (constituency office)where those he represents can lodge their various issues but hurriedly rushed to open a gigantic edifice as campaign office (no respect for the people).
“Delta state governorship aspirant that is no longer interested in lawmaking as at today but his selfish motive to become governor.
“Delta state governorship aspirant who’s a serving senator but claims to has executed projects done by DESOPADEC”.
Frantic effort by the Bomadi local government Chairman, Hon. Angadi, who seems to be in the convoy of Manager to appeal to the angry youths fell on deaf ears.
It would be recall that, in Olomoro, Isoko south local government area of the state, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) youths equally booed the senator for poor representation.
“Immediately we got the news of Manager’s visit to Idodo Umeh’s house, we the PDP youth in Olomoro stormed the place to listen to what he has to say. As soon as it was time for him to speak, we all started booing and shouting him down.
“It was an event that cannot be forgotten in a hurry. All efforts by the host, Chief Idodo Umeh, to calm us down failed, because we overwhelmed everybody. For the past 16 years, Manager has nothing to show in Isoko,” a youth told said.
