The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), has thrown its weight behind the leading governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, ahead of the gubernatorial race in the state.
This was disclosed on Thursday July 15th 2021, by the Chairman of PDP, Udu Ward 03, Olorogun Friday Orugbo, when the former minister hosted Udu Ward Excos at his Oginibo country home, Ughelli south local government area of the state.
According to Orugbo, “With what I saw in you today Delta State is in safe hand”.
The business tycoon told the Udu PDP ward excos, “Delta State is PDP state and we will not make mistakes to give it out to other party”.
Another respondent, Mr. Godwin Luya, the Vice Chairman, Udu Ward 4, reiterated that Ughievwen and Udu are brothers, and they are very ready to vote Ughievwen man as Governor, stressing that by induction Olorogun Gbagi is an Udu industrious son.
In his remarks, the renowned criminologist assured Udu PDP ward excos of good governerce, that he would follow up with the smart agenda of the amiable state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, adding that the future of the state is in the hands of the PDP excos.
The gathering was aimed at familiarizing between Udu Ward excos and the Gbagi Solidarity Movement (GSM), ahead of the election.
