As the choice of which Senatorial District of Delta State, takes over power from Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, continue to take centre stage, Chairman of the Delta North Traditional Rulers Forum (DNTRF), Obi (Prof) Chike Edozien, has described intruders as “bandits”.
“You don’t expect to go and take the harvest when you did not sow. If you go to take the harvest when you did not sow, then, you are a bandit”.
The revered traditional ruler made the assertion Tuesday April 5th 2022, when leading governorship aspirant and largest private investor in the state, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, paid him a consultative visit at his Palace in Asaba.
Asagba, who sought to know which of the senatorial district ought to take a shot at the the governorship seat, was told that it was the turn of Delta Central haven waited for 16 years for the governorship circle to be completed.
According to him, “I have heard what you said. I will go to others to help us achieve it. There are many steps to get there and in consideration of that, one of this days, I will invite the aspirants.
“I have heard and in any discussion, I will see that this analysis is not forgotten. It is an analysis that we can use. I know your antecedents, I know your heart desire and I know that if this analysis as it regards to the zone, it will produce the best governor of Delta State.
“With this information, we know what is best to do. It is our responsibility and duty to see that the best candidate emerges as the nest governor of Delta State and to see that our development can be done. God bless you”.
