The choice of the majority of Deltans for Governor, remains Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi. The reason is simple, because of the agenda he plans to execute when he becomes Governor come 2023.
Olorogun Gbagi, the largest private investor in Delta, has distinguished himself as a better manager of men and resources than all other aspirants who are sole administrators, unable to manage the resources at their disposal and without accountability.
Gbagi is also the pick of the bunch because others, lack the spread of followership to deliver the state to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the governorship election come 2023.
Admittedly, some persons, oftentimes, rely on second-hand information to get a grasp of political happenings, and as such may be considered to have limited understanding. But the democratization of information, made possible by the internet and its wide adoption, has made it easier for us to follow events, sometimes in real-time, and assess the quality of leadership offered to our people.
To this end, and without any intention to personally attack anyone, Delta State will be totally mis-governed if the likes of Sheriff Oborevwori, David Edebvie, James Manager, Kingsley Otuaro, Festus Agas, Abel Esievo are allowed to govern the State.
I can spend time to illustrate this point but for the sake of brevity and time, I will highlight the relevant points.
Gbagi, a philanthropist to reckon with, will make a great Governor because he has both a sense of legacy and self-restraint for the reasons I will illustrate below.
In sharp contrast, Gbagi, has a plan to govern Delta State. He has had it for years. It’s well articulated in a documented blueprint to guide him when he’s elected and assumes office as Governor on 29th May 2023.
Olorogun Gbagi, a renowned entrepreneur, has a great and uncommon ability of spotting talents who can join him in governing the state, based on their proven merit and capabilities.
Gbagi is a darling of the vast majority of Deltans cutting across the three senatorial districts of South, Central and North. This is why he has remained the single most central issue in Delta State politics since 1998/1999 when he and Ibori and Dafinone brought the party to Delta. That’s the platform, Ibori, Uduaghan and Okowa won their elections.
The good people of Delta State are yearning for Olorogun Gbagi to be Governor because he has been with them all his life without blemish, compared with the rest.
In effect, Oborevwori, Edevbie, Manager, Otuaro and the rest of them have lived on government, either by election or appointment and that is the only real credential they can boast of without much controversy.
So, that’s why their hired writers could not point out any meaningful project, or programmes their principals have, not to talk of investments owned by them anywhere in the state.
There are many other reasons why Gbagi should be preferred to the aforementioned aspirants as Governor, as he has the ability to turn a desert/or forest into an industrial hub.
