The Deputy Senate President (DSP), cum Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ovie Omo-Agege has arrived the Delta State capital, Asaba ahead of the governorship primaries of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Omo-Agege is a leading contender for the governorship of Delta State.
The governorship primary which holds at Federal Technical College, Asaba, on Thursday May 26th 2022, would witness the gathering of elected delegates who would elect the party’s standard bearer in the 2023 gubernatorial polls.
The aircraft conveying the Delta Central lawmaker landed at the Asaba Airport around 6:30pm, Tuesday, May 25.

Director, Communications and Media Strategy, Ovie Omo-Agege Campaign Organisation, disclosed that officials of the party at the national level are already in the state capital for the conduct of the exercise.
Omo-Agege’s governorship aspiration is focused on building a new Delta premised on “Employment and Empowerment, Development, Good Governance and Enduring peace and security (EDGE)”.
In his entourage were his Chief of Staff, Dr Otive Igbuzor, former presidential spokesman and Director, Communications and Media Strategy for the Ovie Omo-Agege Campaign Organisation, Ima Niboro, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka and other party chieftains.
