…I was pushed out of government house — Councilor
The Councilor representing Oleh Ward 2, Isoko south local government area of Delta State, Hon. Olokor Abizire, was chased out of Government House for supporting Olorogun David Edebvie, against Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s preferred aspirant, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Hon. Abizire, in an exclusive phone conversation with The Story, disclosed that he was told that the meeting was called for the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Oborevwori, who is Okowa’s anointed aspirant in the forthcoming Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) primary election scheduled for May 23rd 2022.
Hear him: “I am Honourable Olokor S. Abizire, the Councilor representing Oleh Ward 2. The governor called a meeting for Delta South Senatorial District. Our local government chairman told the Leader not to call the whole Councilors, he now selected the Councilors.
“Mostly, the councilors from Oleh were not called but when we got the information, I say no my colleagues in Patani and different places called me if I am not attending the meeting, I asked to know the meeting, they said Delta South Senatorial District meeting.
“I drove down, I went to the Hall straight. After greeting my chairman, the Vice Chairman of Isoko north, Ozue, now walked to my chairman and asked him why did he invite me for the meeting? This meeting is for Sheriff. I walked passed and greeted everybody.
“The next 20 minutes, a DSS walked to me and said he wants to see me. I said for what? He said he wants to see me. So, he excused me outside and said I am not among the meeting that I am an Obote, I asked him what is the meaning of Obote, he told me that I am for Edevbie, that I am not for Sheriff.
“I then asked if the governor called Delta south senatorial district meeting, is it for only Sheriff? So, he now told the rest people to escort me out of government house. So, I was escorted out of government house. So, I now called my boss thay I have been asked to leave Government House, he then said I should go. But then I asked a question before the DSS people that escorted me out of Government House, if the stomach is a mirror?
“The DSS people that escorted me out of Government House told me that the people that fished me out said that I am not among the people. It is your chairman of your local government and the Vice Chairman of Isoko north. They are Askia supporters”.
Asked if he was not molested, he said: “when I got to the front, I was molested by the DSS, that I should leave the government house. I was pushed out”, he disclosed.

The councillor representing Karo Ilolo in his ward, Honorable Uloko was identified and label David Edevbie supporter.
Voom, Okowa directed two SSS officials through an appointee to throw him out of the hall.
