…Yet to clear air on certificate discrepancies 24 hours after
The loud noise that greeted the governorship ambition of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Speaker, Sheriff Oborevwori, has died down since the news of discrepancies uncovered in the certificates and affidavits he tendered for screening.
Perhaps, his hired followers got wind of the fall out from the screening exercise, even when they were dressed in his crested T-shirt and caps, with some holding theirs in their hands, the usual noise that comes with the presence of the bees was totally absent during the Commissioning of the Akpo Road yesterday.
It took the presence of the supporters of Hon. Prince Pat Ajudua, with the acronym PPA, to spice up the commissioning as those skimming to be Deputy Governor to Oborevwori, could not equally steal the show.
Since Friday April 29th when Oborevwori’s certificate discrepancies took over the online platforms and the social media, Oborevwori and his supporters are conspicuously missing from the social media apart from the news of the discrepancy.
The “Sheriffied” and Sherification”, that became a song on the lips of Oborevwori’s supporters have equally been lowered, perhaps thinking of the next line of action.
Meanwhile, 24 hours after the sad news broke out not Oborevwori nor his Campaign Organization have made any official statement to counter the publications that have gone viral.
The silence in the camp of Okowa’s preferred aspirant, has given credence to the report of the discrepancies uncovered in his certificates.
