“My plan is to revert Delta State more than Lagos State. We were better than Lagos before. I will bring industries back to this land and it is a promise”, largest private investor cum leading governorship aspirant in the state, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has said.
He said while 50 percent of women would form his cabinet, he would not do any less with the youths of Delta, stressing that he would emancipate the youths and give them gainful employment.
The former minister of education, Olorogun Gbagi, stated this when business owners at Robinson Plaza Deco Road and PTI Junction in collaboration with Delta youths held a massive rally in solidarity for Gbagi’s governorship ambition in Oginibo, Ughelli south local government area of the state recently.
“I have said in the first weeks and months of my governance, every Deltan youths, I will pay them salaries by the grace of God. The reason been that what ever is wrong with our youths, we will take responsibility.
“We will give you, your sisters and brothers work. If we do this to take you out of the street, there will be more responsible people at night. So, my first arrangement, is to emancipate ayy the youths that are unemployed and give them gainful employment but we must start by paying them money while we get them out of the street.
“I will assure you people, what brings business and industry to any state, is the confidence. If you vote for Baboon, you take the state to a state of Baboon. If you allow Baboon to rule you, nobody will come and put his investments in the land of Baboon.
“If you vote for me, giving my world relationship with virtually every country in the world, with every president past or present, I can bring industry and development faster and a win-win situation for all of you to be successful”.
He charged the over 5000 youths not to allow anyone use them for thuggery, “Don’t allow yourself to be used as a political thug and don’t allow yourself to be deceived”, assuring that Robinson Plaza, would be replicated in all the 25 local government areas of the state.
While lamenting that a lot of businesses have left Delta due to lack of confidence, he said: “It is that confidence that I want to exhume by first and foremost, you and your brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and all that are above 18 years go and obtain their PVCs, I am the next governor”, Gbagi declared.
