…Prays For Gbagi’s Guber Success
A moneybag cum business mugul in Isoko nation in the Southern senatorial district of Delta State, High Chief Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, has affirmed that the leading governorship aspirant in the state, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, is in the race to save the state from further economic woe come 2023.
Chief Wayles stated this on Thursday March 24th 2022, when the largest private investor cum prominent gubernatorial hopeful, Olorogun Gbagi, paid him a consultative visit at his Ewhen Country home in Isoko south local government area of the state.
The business tycoon who disclosed that Gbagi, is in the race for the good of Deltans, affirmed that they have been good friends for years.
“You are in the race for the good of Deltans. You are my own friend”, he said.
Meanwhile, Wayles in his prayers for the success of Gbagi’s gubernatorial ambition said: “You need life and good health to run this race. You are not looking for money because you have what you, your children and grandchildren will eat.
“The leg with which you came here, God will equally grant you journey mercies and you will arrive home successfully.
“May God give you good health and peace. Whatever you are looking for, may God place it on your hands”.
Earlier, Gbagi, who was at the residence of High Chief Wayles, called on him and his teeming supporters across the state, to look inwards and chop for a better governorship aspirant who would rather take the state higher than the incumbent governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, would leave it.
“I believe very strongly that business wise in the state, I can change the level in different areas. If we make one wrong choice like Nigeria made a wrong choice that APC has ravaged us, it will take another 40 years for us to get back to where we were, when Jonathan was president.
“It is a dangerous precedence for us to make a wrong choice. It is not just about Gbagi, we need courage to speak the truth and do what is right. Every right thinking person will not allow it because the destruction is massive and the two minutes wrong choice will take us into a state of calamity.
“It is the apathy of good people that keeps the wrong persons in governance and unless we do what is right, we will be making the grievous mistakes of our lives”, just as he called on him not to allow Delta State to die.
