The smooth transition of power from Chief Willie Obiano to Prof. Charles Soludo, turned into a fisticuff between the wife of Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, Iyom Bianca Ojukwu and the wife of the out gone governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, over alleged slap.
Some alleged that it was the wife of the Obiano, who slapped first but others said it was the wife of Ojukwu.
According to sources, fight broke out at the swearing in of Charles Soludo at the Government House, Awka.
According to an eyewitness, Obiano’s wife was greeting people when she got to see Ojukwu’s wife , she asked her why she came to an APGA event after insulting the party on social media, Iyom stood up and slapped her dragging her wig off her head.
Another source said: “two fighting: uncommon slaps, as Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, wife of Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu slaps Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of the former governor at the swearing in of Prof Charles Soludo at the Government House, Awka.
In the same vein, another respondent hinted: Ex-gov Obiano’s wife, Ebelechukwu, slaps Bianca Ojukwu at Soludo’s inauguration.
Another source alleged that “Obiano’s wife once slapped her husband. She also slapped wife of her husband’s Deputy”.
Meanwhile, the Anambra’s new governor, Soludo has suspended all revenue collection in the State, promising to set up a new system in four weeks.
