Former member of the House of Representatives for Aniocha/ Oshimili Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Joan Onyemaechi also known as Ada-Anioma, has expressed appreciation to Nigerians most especially Deltans for the support when she was abducted on 30th July 2024.
Similarly, the former Commissioner for Technical Education expressed gratitude to various religious groups for praying for her release while in her kidnappers den for 10 days.
The two terms Delta State House of Assembly member thanked all for their overwhelming and unflinching support over the period of her travail, noting that their efforts yielded results.
A release on Saturday September 7, 2024, she personally signed titled: “I am Grateful for all the support”, she described the support and prayers offered by the church as “invaluable”.
According to her, “I want to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who in different ways stood in the gap for me, in prayer and support during my recent ordeal.
“From the day I was kidnapped at King Jesus & I Ministries, Asaba, to my safe return, your support and prayers truly reached to the owner of the heavens and the earth.
You were a source of strength at that dark moment”.
She extend her gratitude to various Church denominations, religious leaders, prayer groups, clergymen and women, market men and women, friends and family members, kinsmen and women worldwide and the political class.
Others are Deltans from all walks of life, Nigerians at home and those in diaspora, the positive professional press men and women as well as reputable media houses all over Nigeria, her ever supportive FATHERS of faith and others, too numerous to mention.
The founder of King Jesus and I Ministries and a great philanthropist said: “Your unwavering support and prayers for my safe return were invaluable.
“I am also thankful for those who joined me physically and virtually for the 3-day Thanksgiving Service (September 1-3, 2024).
“Your efforts yielded results and your prayers were answered. We give all the glory to our covenant-keeping God”.
She prayed that the Almighty God would bless and honour each one for the massive support.
