Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has assured Nigerians that the country would measure heights with other countries of the world when he is allowed to pilot the affairs come 2023.
The Vice President gave the assurance on Thursday April 28th 2022, at the Palace of the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozien during a courtesy visit on the Palace for his presidential ambition to seek for his prayers.
The presidential aspirant was equally to canvass for the support of delegates ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Primaries.
He promised to salvage the country if elected having served as vice president in the past seven years.
“with all sense of responsibility having served as vice president and occasionally as acting president in the past seven years.
“I have taken the decision with all sense of responsibility having served as Vice President and occasionally as Acting President and my experiences over in the past seven years while serving as Acting President has equipped me with the needed experience to tackle existing problems in the country.”
In his response, the Asaba monarch said his people would be happy if the Federal Government could see the need to establish a federal university in Asaba as a way of pacifying them following the massacre of its citizens during the civil war by federal troops.
