The presidential candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adebayo Adewole, has beseeched Nigerians to keep praying for God to direct them in who they should vote for come 2023 presidential election.
Prince Adewole expressed hope that only God’s will for Nigeria would come to pass in the 2023 election coming ahead, stressing that Nigeria should pray for the one God has chosen to rescue the country, saying the person is yet to be known.
He stated this on Thursday July 28th 2022, at the National Ecumenical Center during the 12th General Assembly and Leadership Transition of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), held in Abuja.
While calling for prayers for the Church, for her to survive the present situation, he said: “The Church in Nigeria needs prayers,” Adewole said, adding that,”The will of God will be done in Nigeria concerning the 2023 general elections”.
Adewole said the unity of the Church is important as it would help Nigeria to achieve unity, just as he said the Church is the reason Nigeria would continue to thrive.
He tasked clergymen not to be tired praying for the Church, ‘The person who will save Nigeria is not the person you may not know. God will reveal to you the person that will save Nigeria,” Adewole added.
