A Nigerian-American singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has alleged that staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives have circumvented the electoral process in the ongoing governorship election in Osun State.
Davido in a tweet on Saturday July 16th 2022, said: “SECURITY MEN AND INEC STAFF HAVE CIRCUMVENTED THE VOTING PROCESS IN IFE EAST, MODAKEKE, BOOSA MARKET UNIT. THEY ARE FORCING PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR APC

Another twitter user, oluwaferanmi @Alaoy, said: “They offered me N7k in Ikire Osun State and I collected their money still voted for Imole”.
Meanwhile, an unidentified woman has been sent out of the premises while allegedly waiting for payment before casting her vote.
A source, hinted: “This woman was sent out because after accraditation she refused to vote that she was waiting for people that promised to pay her after voting”.
