Three Hard Drug Dealers, Cultist, Two Others Nabbed, As Police Recovers 50 Wrap Of Cocaine In Delta

Determined to get rid of criminal elements off Delta State, the police have apprehended four bandits specialized in dealing in Cocaine.

A press release on Saturday 13th March 2021, by the Ag. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, pointed out that the hooligans were arrested in various spots in Warri axis of the state.

According to the image maker, on 12th March 2021, patrol team from ‘A’ Division Warri, raided black spots at Macaver street, in course of the raid, three suspects, were arrested.

“One Monday Ofomukoro, Prince Akpojaro and Godday Doutimiareye were arrested with about 50 wraps and two other unwrapped stones  of illicit drugs suspected to be cocaine.

“One of the suspects, Monday Ofomukoro confessed to have been dealing on the sale of such substance for some years now.

Similarly, on 12th March 2021, patrol team from ‘A’ Division Warri raided black spot at Panapina by the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) in Warri.

“During the raid, a suspected cultist, one Ebi Anda, was arrested with some quantity of weed suspected to be Indian hemp in about three medium size nylon bag compartments and about 50 pieces of razler wrap, one battle axe, two daggers”.

He is currently been investigated and would be charged to court as soon as possible, DSP Bright hinted.

In another development, on 12th March 2021, men of ‘A’ Division Warri working  on intelligence gathering, arrested one Gbobobo Obaro who was caught in the act  while snatching phones of two supposed passengers around Morogun axis of Warri.

“The patrol team gave him a hot chase and he was arrested at Effurun roundabout, two android phones recovered from him. On interrogation, his confession led to the arrest of the receiver one Sani Amadu of Igbudu market both suspects are currently been investigated.

The PPRO disclosed that the Command is doing everything possible to demobilize operational network of these cartels.

Meanwhile, in compliance with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ari Muhammed Ali, DPOs have continue to remain on their toes, to see that crimes and criminality is reduced to the lowest level in the state.

The police boss was quoted to have said the mandate was given to him by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu just as Bright noted that the cases are under investigation.
