THE STORY BREAKING NEWS: EFCC Accountant Allegedly Moves N10 Billion From Recovered Loot

The Accountant of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Jafaru Mohammed, has allegedly stolen N10 billion from the recovered N13 billion loot.

Mohammed, is in charge of NIA Ikoyi case.

The post was made by one Donatus Mba on Breaking News Naija, a Facebook page.

Reacting to the post, some Facebook users, lamented the situation where the hunter becomes the hunted.

Nicholas Dike, said: “Looters everywhere. And yet they want to borrow from Benin Republic and other African country. This Govt. Is a failure let’s face it. They claim they  come to fight corruption, but corruption now have grandfather and grandmother, sister and brother, corruption in our faces, and nothing we can do about it. 2023 is almost here. In God’s hands I put it.

Also, Opara Robert, posted: “The government has given an of how the recovered loots were to develop the nation rather you hear borrow and borrow from China and its use is not clear. What a double tragedy for Nigeria. I like what Peter Obi said recently. Any rich man from a poor country is poor . QED.

Another user, Japhetee Lorkohol, said: “A watch dog eating over the bones; chai, Nigeria, who will judge who?  Deputy commissioner of police soil his hands, judicially hands are not free, anti corruption body is the worst, politicians are the gateway of the game.
I don’t know why those uniform boys are very inert to topple this corrupt and drugs baron administration of no headway.

Another commentator, Janson Joe, wrote: ‘The government in power has failed woefully in the fight against corruption. He Stole N10bn out of N13bn recorvered loot….
