The operatives of Department of State Services (DSS), has produced the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Mr. Kanu, who was on Tuesday June 29th 2021, brought to the court amidst tight security, arrived at the court at about 1:40 pm.
However, all the entrances to the court have been under lock as the hearing in the matter is ongoing.
The acclaimed leader of the proscribed secessionists group, Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was rearrested on Sunday June 27th, 2021.
Addressing the media at a joint media briefing of the Department of State Services and the Police, Nigeria’s Justice Minister and Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, said he was ‘intercepted’ on Sunday 27 June.
Malami said the arrest was by the effort of intelligence services.
The Justice Minister said Kanu has been returned to Nigeria to face his 11-count charge bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, illegal possession of firearms, among others.
