Suspected hired assasins have killed the newly appointed Director, at the Army Headquarters, Major General Hassan Ahmed, in Abuja.
The wife of the deceased was abducted by the hoodlums after killing the husband.
Ahmed, a former Provost Marshal, was recently appointed by the Chief of Army Staff, Faruk Yahaya.
Trouble started on Thursday July 15th 2021, when he and his wife were returning from Okene, when they were attacked.
It was gathered that the bandits opened fire on his vehicle, killing him on th spot.
It was reliably learnt that the driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the wife away.
