Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas inspected the main bowl of the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo, preparing for his official defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, 2026.
Accompanied by members of the National Assembly from the state, APC leaders, and numerous supporters, the Governor evaluated the facilities to ensure a smooth defection ceremony.
Dr. Kefas noted he was at the stadium to assess the preparations for the event and expressed confidence in its success.
The defection ceremony is expected to attract high-profile attendees, including Vice President Kashim Shetima, Senate President Godswill Akwabio, the APC National Chairman, and other prominent figures.
