Senator Nwoko Mourns Late Senator Nwaoboshi

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has expressed deep condolences to the family of the late Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi over the passing of the renowned politician and statesman.

In a condolence message issued in Abuja, Senator Nwoko described the late Nwaoboshi as a towering political figure whose contributions to the political development of Delta State and Anioma land spanned several decades, dating back to the 1990s.

He recalled that Senator Nwaoboshi, who represented Delta North in the Senate from 2015 to 2023, was a seasoned party administrator, dedicated community leader, and an influential force in the state’s political evolution.

“It is with a profound sense of loss and grief that I received the sad news of the passing of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi,” Senator Nwoko said.

“He contributed immensely to the social and political growth of Delta State, Delta North, and the nation at large, having served in key capacities as party chairman, commissioner, and senator, among other public offices.”

Senator Nwoko, on behalf of himself, his family, and political associates, extended his heartfelt commiseration to the Nwaoboshi family, describing the late senator as a patriarch whose legacy of service and leadership will endure.

He further prayed that the Almighty God grants the family, as well as the people of Oshimili, Anioma, and Delta State, the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, Senator Nwoko noted, will be remembered for his courage, commitment to public service, and lasting impact on the political landscape of Delta State.
