The Senator representing Delta north Senatorial District in the National Assembly (NASS), the Most Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, has convened a strategic meeting with GKE Global Ventures, an agency of the Senator’s Skill Acquisition Centre, Asaba, focused on improving the lives of Anioma people, particularly women and youths.
The meeting which was convened in the Senator’s Abuja residence, had the lead Director, Mr. Emma Okocha and others discussed critical empowerment initiative with the Senator recently.
Renowned as an empowerment advocate, Senator Nwoko announced plans to officially launch comprehensive skill acquisition programs tailored for women and young people across Anioma.
He emphasized the urgent need to equip Anioma women with practical skills that will enable them to become self-reliant and financially empowered.
He stated that they will have the freedom to pursue training in any trade of their choice.
On youth empowerment, the Senator highlighted the significance of reducing unemployment through vocational training and job creation initiatives.
He assured that his forthcoming programs will open up meaningful employment opportunities, ultimately contributing to societal development and Nigeria’s broader economic progress.
The GKE team expressed gratitude for Senator Nwoko’s consistent action and dedication, applauding his “talk and do” approach to leadership.
They noted that his tenure stands out as he continues to ensure that every Anioma resident benefits from his service.
