Senator Ned Munir Nwoko on Saturday, September 27, joined Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other federal lawmakers at the Passing Out Parade (POP) of cadets of the 72 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

The colourful parade, held at the Academy Parade Ground, Afaka, was part of activities marking the NDA’s 35th Convocation Ceremony. It attracted top dignitaries from the military, political, and academic spheres.

Earlier in the week, on Thursday, September 25, the Academy had awarded degrees to 2,618 graduands during the convocation ceremony.

The recipients included 72 cadet officers of the Regular Course and 2,546 postgraduate students, highlighting the NDA’s mandate as both a military training ground and a centre of higher learning.

The POP formally commissioned the cadets as officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces, marking the successful end of years of rigorous academic and military training.
